GREEN CHEEK CONURES  
Green-cheeked conures are charming little birds. I have 6 little babies at the moment. Taking orders now for these fellows . They are playful, affectionate and intelligent. They are known as having a "big personality in a small body". They can learn to talk, albeit with a limited vocabulary and a gravelly voice. They like to be held (although some like it more than others) and can learn tricks, such as 'Sea-Monkeys' - lying on their backs and "kissing." Along with other Pyrrhura conures, they are only moderately loud, therefore making acceptable pets for apartment dwellers. Taking orders for these guys for the 2010 season. Generally start breeding Sept/ Oct. Handraised from 10 days of age (before eyes opened). Create quite a bit of mischief . Prices are: $125.00ea for normals, cinnamons are $150.00, yellowsideds are $200.00 and pineapple hens are $400.00ea.
MAROON BELLY CONURES  
I am currently taking orders for hand raised maroon belly conures....... beautifully hand raised and lovely little fellows. Full of character. They are playful, affectionate and intelligent. ALEXANDRIANS  
Taking orders for these guys for the 2010 season. We have babies now..... ready in approx 14 - 18 weeks time!!! $350.00ea. Handraised from 14 days of age. Come and see 'Bob' our 3 year old handraised boy ----- absolutely a funny character !!!! He teaches all the new babies to eat pegs and anything else that they can get their 'hands' onto!!!!
QUAKERS (MONK PARROTS)  
Very, very popular. Place your orders now. These guys start breeding late September. Each blue baby costs $350ea & each green baby costs $250.00ea - this price includes dna sexing. These little guys are fantastic as a child's first pet.

Sulphur Crested Cockatoos

Short Bill Corellas & Long Bill Corellas  
I am taking orders for the '10 season for these guys as well. I handraise long and short bill corellas. Very, very popular - orders must be placed and deposits received of $100.00 ea to secure your baby. Fantastic talkers and love to follow you everywhere.

Orders are now closed for the 2010 season for Major Mitchell Cockatoos. If you wish to go on a waiting list, please let me know. Recreational licence required - costs $66.50 for 5 years and takes 5 minutes on the internet.

All hand raised companion parrots (except cockatiels) come with complimentary dna sexing certificate. A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each bird is required to secure your 'baby' - orders will only be taken when this payment has been made. A delivery fee of $20.00 will be required for all birds if they need to be delivered to Brisbane for flights etc. as it costs me approximately $100.00 in diesel each trip (a minimum of 5 birds per trip). All prices quoted above do not include travel expenses. Flights generally cost $100.00 to all major airports from Brisbane (this cost includes your travel box).

Galahs have been successfully kept as pets. Best success in achieving a friendly bird is to obtain a hand reared bird. Some hand-reared galahs will actually think of themselves more as a human than as a bird.
Both sexes of galahs can imitate human voice but male galahs are known to be better talkers. Recent research into parrots seems to indicate that galahs can develop the communication and problem solving skill level of a two-year old child.
